Our Story

From Housing Platform to Technology Company

My Roof Group started as International Group My Roof LTD with a single product: myroofgroup.ca — a housing platform offering verified co-living rooms and house rentals across Canada. Flexible leases, tenant support, secure booking, and community-focused living — all in one place.

While running myroofgroup.ca, we saw firsthand how tenants and landlords struggled with BC tenancy law. Eviction notices were misunderstood, deposit rules were unclear, and the 28 official RTB forms intimidated everyone involved.

So we built the Randy BC app — an AI assistant that gives instant guidance on evictions, deposits, repairs, and rent increases, and pre-fills official RTB forms. Free for tenants, landlords, and property managers who need to manage multiple cases across their portfolio.

Now we are building Roommate Matching to complete the housing journey — from finding a verified home on myroofgroup.ca, to understanding your rights with the Randy BC app, to finding the right people to live with.
